Ashridge DVC Seminar, October 2007In October 2007 the Chilterns Conservation Board and its partners hosted a national seminar on the issue of deer-vehicle collisions on
Deer-vehicle collisions are a growing national problem on our roads and results in injuries and sometimes death for people and deer. The Chilterns, and the National Trust Ashridge Estate in particular, are a real hotspot for collisions between deer and vehicles. It is very appropriate, therefore, that the Estate was the location of a day-long event at which experts from around the country gathered to learn about local and national measures which have been trialled to reduce deer-vehicle collisions.
