Fundraising

In order to undertake all of the intended research trials we shall need to continue to raise further sponsorship. If any organisations or individuals are interested in supporting this project please contact The Deer Initiative (registered charity no. 1082289)

Many thanks to Tricia and Terry Davis who in September 2006 raised £1043 for the Deer Collisions project through organising a fundraising dinner in memory of her son Martin Jones, who was tragically killed in a collision with a deer in 2003. To read more about Tricia and her efforts to help raise awareness of Deer-Vehicle Collisions issues see 'in-the-news 2/4/07'

Many thanks also to everyone who sponsorsed Jochen's London Marathon run in 2005 , helping us to raise over £1000 towards 'Slow Down for Wildlife' car stickers and posters .
